Bronze Bold works on album, meanwhile titled "New Big Game". It's gonna be electronic and industrial oriented, definitely less romantic as previous Soul Refuge was. Uri is looking for cooperation with other musicians and composers in order to enrich it with different point of view. The album will focus on actual themes of our days and the world around us.  You can already listen 3 tracks that with high probalility will be included:

1. And NATO for all... - instrumental

2. Fiend

3  Reconquista - East vs. West

Early years

Uri was born in Latvia and lives in Israel. His first music experience was at the age of 5 when he first laid his hands on a piano, discovered the world of music and creation. Instead of been absolutely exposed and devoted to the world of classical music, he began eagerly consuming rock, metal, pop heroes of the late 80-ies stage. However, he wasn't satisfied in being the passive listener but decided to make it his own way.

Uri released two full-length solo albums in 1995 and 1996 (see "Early Works" on Discography) which were distributed primarily between friends. At the end of 1996 next work, EP "Taste the peril" was released by Uri and his close friend Eugenie (thrash metal project Nizam). "Luck is rare, shit's everywhere" (Winners' instinct) - the album was distributed between record labels but didn't succeed to catch their attention. Years go by; Uri couldn't abandon his passion for music and decided to renew his creation process.

Back to the studio

In 2007 Uri returned back to his studio and started reviving his old material and enriching it with a new sound, new perspective. The out-dated tracks received a special treatment of sound and formatting and were completely transformed. Along with the process also came the writing of brand new materials. He also began taking lessons with vocal coach Lilac Sheer, rock\blues female singer sound engineering lessons with Guy Lebiush.

Recording "Soul Refuge"

Next move was to start recording at a professional studio. Following the Guy's advice Luna studio was chosen, one of the well known indie- record studios located in Tel Aviv. Producer Lior Tevet, Luna's co-owner, had co-produced 4 of the albums' tracks (final CD version contains 7 tracks and short opening intro). Local band, named "Uniformed whores" enriched the record with a live sound. Lilac Sheer contributed her mysterious voice as back vocal.

The "Soul Refuge" CD was mastered at Firehouse Studio by Yoram Vazan and finally released on April 2008.

Nowadays

Apart from promotional efforts creation process doesn't stop. Brand new songs are waiting for their hour to be finally mixed and mastered, for example:

- Reconquista - historic instrumental opus (available on Bronze Bold's Myspace page),

- Fiend- melodic Noise-electropop track,

- Spreaders of Plague - dance metal version of the song which was previously released as thrash metal track more than decade ago ("Taste the Peril" EP).

It definitely appears that next Bronze Bold release is going to be harder and faster. But meanwhile it's time for "Soul Refuge".
